The _Litblog award opens the new season for the fourth time. The award is given as part of the Big Book National Literary Prize. The purpose of "_Litblog" is to encourage the discussion of literature on the net and to name the author of the best text on contemporary Russian literature.

In 2019, the award was given to critic of the Prochtenie magazine Maria Lebedeva, and in 2020 the jury awarded Sergey Lebedenko, author of the Telegram channel Books of Fry.

Applications will be accepted until October 31st.

Each of the contenders for the award must send three reviews of new book articles with a total volume of no more than 15,000 characters. At the same time, one of the texts should be devoted to the works of the finalists of any of the three national literary awards for 2019, 2020 and 2021 - Big Book, Lyceum, Book Book. Along with the application, you must send a brief information about the blog and its author. The jury will consider both text and video blogs, but at the time of application, the blog must be maintained for at least six months. The place of residence and citizenship of applicants does not matter.

This year, as before, not only the authors themselves, but also specialized media, libraries, universities, as well as the winners of the national literary awards of the 2020-2021 seasons and the winners of previous seasons of the Litblog award have the right to nominate. At the end of the acceptance of applications, an expert council headed by the writer and philologist Maya Kucherskaya will select the finalists, after which the award jury will determine the winner.

The name of the winner will be announced at the Big Book Awards Ceremony. The composition of the jury will be known in the second half of the year. The winner will receive a cash prize and a tablet.
