Writer, musician Irina Bogatyreva was born in Kazan, grew up in Ulyanovsk, now lives in Moscow. She graduated from the Gorky Literary Institute and a master's degree at the Center for Typology and Semiotics of Folklore of the Russian State Humanitarian University. Author of 9 books of prose, laureate of the Ilya Prize, the October Magazine Prize, the Belkin Prize, the Goncharov Prize, the Krapivin Prize, the Mikhalkov Prize, the Student Booker, and the Book Book competition. Sergei Gogin was born in 1964 in Uralsk. In 1981 he graduated from secondary school No. 1 in Ulyanovsk, in 1986 - from the Ulyanovsk Polytechnic Institute. He worked at the regional radio and television, in the city newspaper "Simbirsky Courier", hosted the author's program at the TRC "Europroject", worked in the journal "Journalism and Media Market" (Union of Journalists of Russia, Moscow). In 1996, he graduated from the American University in Washington, D.C. with a degree in journalism and mass communications.
From 2014 to 2017 on the stage of the Ulyanovsk Regional Drama Theater there was a one-act play "A Little Man with a Big Heart" based on Sergei Gogin's free verse cycle "About a Little Man", today this performance is in the repertoire of the Ulyanovsk Youth Theater. Born in 1994 in Ulyanovsk. He graduated from the bachelor's degree at the Ulyanovsk State Technical University and a master's degree from the Higher School of Printing and Media Technologies in St. Petersburg. In 1991, the first book of poems by Elena Kuvshinnikova "Quiet Light" was published. In 1994, the author was admitted to the Writers' Union of Russia. Since 1993, she has worked for ten years at the Central City Library named after I. I.A. Goncharova, was the head of the Literary Living Room, later the living room became the Poets' Club. From 2005 to 2010 she worked for the Monomakh magazine. Man of the Year 2003, winner of the Monomakh's Cap Grand Prix; since 2010 - editor-in-chief of the almanac "Karamzinsky Garden", since 2014 - editor-in-chief of the magazine "Simbirsk". Kirill Lukovkin was born in 1985 in the city of Baku (Azerbaijan). Then in 1990, together with his family, he moved to Ulyanovsk, where he still lives. In 2007 he graduated from the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University named after I.N. Ulyanov with a degree in jurisprudence. Works as a teacher. The sphere of creative interests is science fiction and its subgenres, literature of the "dark direction" and thriller. Danila Nozdryakov was born in 1986 in Ulyanovsk, where he continues to live. Graduated from Ulyanovsk State University. He worked as a teacher of philosophy and history, now a journalist. Lidia Pekhtereva, journalist, author of children's fairy tales and poems (Ulyanovsk)

Lidia Pekhtereva was born in 1983 in Ulyanovsk, spent her preschool childhood in the village of Polovo in Belarus, then the family returned to Ulyanovsk. She graduated from school-gymnasium No. 59, and in 2005 - UlSTU (graduate of the Department of Philology, Publishing and Editing). While still a student, she began working as a journalist in the Simbirsky Courier newspaper, at the same time she became one of the founders and authors of the first news site in Ulyanovsk, Ulgrad.ru, which was later formalized as the news agency Ulyanovsk - City of News.

Born in 1986 in the village of Cherny Klyuch, Bazarnosyzgansky district, since 2003 lives in Ulyanovsk. Graduated from UlGPU. Education teacher of geography and biology. Since 2008 he has been working as a journalist, of which five years in the "Narodnaya Gazeta". Author of the samizdat collection "Unwilling".
Laureate of the competitions "First Dew", "Simbirlit", "Flight of Fantasy". He was on the long list of the Filatov Festival. One of the founders of the creative association "Gang of Ilyich". In prose, she prefers short format, in poetry - civil lyrics and satire.

Olga Sheipak, writer, editor-in-chief of the Monomakh magazine (Ulyanovsk)

Olga Georgievna Sheipak is a prose writer, author of fiction and journalistic books. Member of the Writers' Union of Russia. Laureate of the All-Russian Literary Prize named after I.A. Goncharov, All-Russian Orthodox Literary Prize. St. Alexander Nevsky.
From an interview with the writer: “My father is from Transbaikalia, my mother is from Mogilev, so my capillary system is from the Baikal depths, where I was born, and my nervous system is from Belarusian melancholy and tenderness.”
Olga Sheipak has been living in Ulyanovsk for many years. She worked as a TV journalist, hosted an author's television program about cultural events in the region. From 1995, she worked as an editor, and from 2001 to 2015, she was the editor-in-chief of the Monomakh local history magazine, to which she returned in 2020.
