Ulyanovsk residents are invited to join the action #NavolnakhVolga
18.05.2020

On May 19-20, on the Day of the Volga, the Centralized Library System of Ulyanovsk launches a network campaign #NavolnakhVolga.

The cities on the Volga are connected by one cultural space and a common desire to preserve the picturesque river. Poems and songs were dedicated to her, her power was depicted in paintings and photographs. Libraries of Ulyanovsk invite everyone to take part in the action #NavolnakhVolga.

Record a video with reading poems dedicated to the Volga (no more than 2-3 minutes). You can read both poems by famous poets and your own works about the Volga. Any creative is welcome, you can design the video the way you want. The e-mail addresses of the libraries to which you need to send videos can be found on the CLS website http://www.mukcbs.org/, in the Library Network section. The videos will be posted on Twitter and VK using the hashtag #NavolnakhVolga.

Also, during the #NavolnakhVolga campaign, a series of online events will be held on the Internet sites of city libraries.

Library №7 im. A.F. Treshnikova will hold an online quiz "Her Majesty the Volga" in her group (https://vk.com/club177109681). Participants will be able to learn about the former names of the river, its length, the decisive battle on the Volga during the Great Patriotic War.

A literary and historical cruise about the history of the Volga and the people who glorified it will be held in the library group No. N.G. Zyrin (https://vk.com/bibliotekazyrina).

Online lecture by ecologist and local historian D.Yu. Semenov can be listened to in the community of the Central City Library. I. A. Goncharova. The environmental problems of the Volga will be raised in the library No. 1 "World of Arts" (https://twitter.com/1_cbs).
