The multimedia guide will be developed during 2021 by the specialists of the Historical and Memorial Center-Museum of I.A. Goncharov in Ulyanovsk. Virtual exhibition “Relics of the I.A. Goncharov" will be created within the framework of the national project "Culture".

It will include information about 40 items of a unique collection of authentic items that belonged to the writer and the Goncharov family, which are available in the funds of the Ulyanovsk Museum. For each exhibit, "points of interest" with various quotes, photographs and facts will be provided.

The exposition will be created on the Artifact digital platform of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Thus, get acquainted with the riches of the Historical and Memorial Center-Museum of I.A. Goncharov will be able to everyone who has access to the Internet: both in Russia and in other countries.

On the resource, with the help of augmented reality technology, it will be possible to learn about Ivan Goncharov’s journey on the frigate Pallada to the shores of Japan, how the portrait of Elizaveta Tolstaya, the prototype of the heroine of Olga Ilyinskaya’s novel Oblomov, was created.
