The event will take place on October 21-22 at the Goncharov House-Museum. This will be the first joint night of Ulyanovsk "people of the book" and "people of the Internet" who will develop useful software products.

The event is being held by the directorate "Ulyanovsk - a literary city of UNESCO", together with the Youth Initiative Center, the Ulyanovsk Regional Museum of Local Lore. I. A. Goncharova, with the support of the Greenhouse of Social Technologies, the Ulyanovsk Directorate of the Year of Good Deeds within the framework of the European Programming Week "Meet and Code". Slovo.web was previously supported by Techshoup, Greenhouse of Social Technologies and SAP.

What can programmers, developers, IT specialists, philologists, journalists, linguists and writers come up with? Will the dialogue work out? You have a chance to influence this and participate in a similar experiment and look for IT solutions to problems related to the preservation of the Russian language, the promotion of literature and reading.

We invite young people over 18 years old who are professionally or amateurish in programming, mobile application development, web design, literature, philology, journalism and linguistics.

A group of co-authors of the best prototype, developed at the hackathon and presented at the final event on October 22, will have the opportunity to purchase fiction or professional literature in any online and offline stores for the amount of 10,000 rubles. The best prototype will be determined by all participants of the hackathon and guests of the presentation. In addition, all presentations will be recorded on video and published (including visual materials, if available) on the sites of the organizers of the hackathon, as well as translated into English and sent to other 19 UNESCO literary cities in different parts of the world.

The organizers provide coffee breaks, areas for work and rest, partially equipment, books, carry out the entire program and try to attract partners for a more comfortable stay in the museum during the day.

The hackathon starts on October 21 at 16:00. Participation is free, but requires registration by October 19 at 23:59 and confirmation from the organizers. Hurry up to register: the number of participants is from 25 to 35 people.
