The directorate of Ulyanovsk - UNESCO Literary City became a part of the anti-stress festival "Koshkin Jazz"
01.08.2023

The festival was held from July 28 to July 30 in three cities of the Volga region at once - in Ulyanovsk, Samara and Penza

On July 28, Ulyanovsk residents and guests of the city were able to hear popular jazz compositions performed by the soloist of the Ulyanovsk Regional Philharmonic Vanessa Kuranova and jazz pianist, composer, arranger Georgy Khudonogov.
Presenter Natalia Prokhorova spoke about Ulyanovsk as a UNESCO literary city and how jazz influenced world literature. Adults and children were delighted with the concert program and applauded the musicians.
Everyone was also able to attend creative workshops and get acquainted with the work of Ulyanovsk artisans.
The project was implemented with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives within the framework of the Big Jazz Weekend in the Volga Region project (Dog. PFKI 22-2-009310).
