Ulyanovsk UNESCO City of Literature Directorate is a partner of the “Arcadia” International Arts Festival together with the City Administration and the Department of Culture

The festival is dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of Arkady Plastov, People's Artist of the USSR, and the preservation of the cultural heritage of the region, the popularization of classical and contemporary art among the general public of Russia. Among the key events are the exhibition projects from the Tretyakov Gallery and the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S. Pushkin.

The festival will unite various areas of modern culture and art: academic and realistic painting, contemporary art, education, choreography, theater, music and literature.
