24.06.2021
In October, the 21st Forum of Young Writers from Russia, the CIS countries and abroad - the legendary "Lipki" - will be held in the Moscow region, which will bring together about 150 authors. The SEIP Foundation, which organizes the Forum, announced a competitive recruitment of candidates. Ulyanovsk authors can also apply.
The writers who have passed the selection will be able to take part in master classes with the editors of thick literary magazines: "New World", "Friendship of Peoples", "Foreign Literature", "Banner", "Questions of Literature", "Star", "Modern Dramaturgy" , "Youth", etc.
Based on the results of the Forum, teachers will determine who to assign a scholarship to. Texts can also be selected for publication in literary journals.
The competition accepts works by young authors under the age of 35, writing in Russian. Selected candidates are provided with accommodation and meals.
Works of all genres are accepted: prose, poetry, literary criticism, works for children and dramaturgy. The application deadline is August 15 (until August 14 23:59).
Recall that Ulyanovsk authors have repeatedly become participants and scholarship holders of the Forum (Vyacheslav Savin, Gala Uzryutova, Danila Nozdryakov, Maria Zavadskaya, Tatyana Filatova).
